The Old Capistrano Certified Farmers Market promotes a healthy lifestyle by providing fresh fruits, vegetables, and other farm products to the citizens of San Juan Capistrano and adds a vibrant community event to our historic downtown.
The Old Capistrano Certified Farmers Market is a weekly farmers market. We encourage all types of food vendors, artisans, crafters, direct sales, and non-profit groups to join us. Please download the forms below and return the completed application and the two forms on the back of the Market Rules along with the items listed on the application. Please return them to the San Juan Chamber office.
Only completed applications will be accepted. Fees for food vendors is 8% of weekly gross sales, plus a $2 state fee. Fees for non-food vendors are $10 per week plus a $2 state fee. There is no fee for non-profits and community outreach, however, there is a $25 hold for the day of that will be refunded if there is a no-show. Please read the market rules for more details.
There is a one-time $50 set-up fee for all food and non-food vendors (non-profits and community outreach are exempt).
The Old Capistrano Certified Farmers Market is a weekly market and requires a weekly commitment. The market runs rain or shine, however, safety of our customers and vendors comes first. If the weather (heat, rain, high winds, etc.) is not safe, the market may close for that week.
